Jeong Sun-ah opened up about why she decided to marry her husband.
On the Nov. 24 episode of SBS' "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny," the musical theater star appeared as a special guest.
Asked how she went from saying she'd never get married to tying the knot after a year of dating, Jeong didn’t miss a beat.
"Guys like me aren’t my type," she said, adding with a laugh that she’s drawn to the opposite. Kim Young-kwang chimed in that when they first met, neither of them was particularly interested.
MC Kim Gu-ra cracked that even history proves opposites chase each other, earning big laughs from the studio.
"My husband is the opposite of me―calm, quiet, collected, and he rarely gets angry," Jeong continued. "So even if I’m worked up, he stays steady, and it never turns into a fight."
She added that after losing her father at a young age, she always imagined a partner with a dad-like steadiness―and her husband is exactly that.
